My name is Rich Clark and I’m running for Rockingham County Attorney to bring transparency and integrity to an office that has been plagued by scandal and controversy since Pat Conway took office. Conway is the only county attorney in the United States that I am aware of that will sign an indictment after a judge refuses to issue an arrest warrant for the same allegations. This is a shocking form of double jeopardy. Conway’s behavior circumvents the court’s authority and charges innocent parents with crimes they did not commit. This behavior of Conway’s has caused an innocent Portsmouth parent to have no contact with their minor child for close to two years. She just drops the case for “insufficient evidence” in total disregard of the damage she does to families, all in defiance of a district court judge.

Pat Conway has used her position as the chief prosecutor of Rockingham County for self-benefit. Pat Conway fired her coworker Jerome Blanchard the first day she took office after Blanchard notified the Attorney General’s Office that Conway’s husband’s name had been removed from the Laurie List (AKA the Bad Cop List).

Governor Sununu withdrew his nomination for Pat Conway’s bid to be a superior court judge after voter fraud concerns against Conway were found. If she can’t be a judge, do we want her as our county attorney?

My family originated from the settlers of Rye Beach, New Hampshire. While employed full-time as a construction contractor, I completed ten years of college to become a lawyer. I have spent fifteen years pursuing justice for average people as a litigator working with local, state police and the FBI. I want to ensure that everyone in the county receives the legal and ethical due process they deserve. I have advocated for family court reform, criminal court reform, and spearheaded the lawsuit against the Parenting Support Center to protect NH families.

I am a legal crusader for every person in Rockingham County. I am not a politician or an unethical lawyer out for personal gain.
